Lehigh Valley Acura Honda Hyundai Suzuki Honors Its Associates of Excellence for Q2 2008
Recently, Lehigh Valley Acura Honda Hyundai Suzuki honored its Associates of Excellence for the second quarter of 2008. Honorees are selected by management and their colleagues because they exhibit the qualities that are important to our culture. These individuals (Pictured L to R - Ruth Burgess, Harlan Lahr, Janey Lohrman) have a great attitude, act as ambassadors to the organization and routinely go above and beyond to satisfy our customers. Harlan Lahr, Lot Attendant - Harlan came to our organization via the acquisition of Chris Koch Hyundai back in 1990. Since that time Harlan has been member of our vehicle reconditioning staff and most recently he has been responsible for maintaining our pre owned vehicle inventory. It’s not uncommon to see Harlan outside picking up trash and cigarette butts off the lot and he can always be seen lining up cars in the most meticulous fashion. Good enough is not the way Harlan manages his work. He wants it to be perfect. Even if the salesperson does a good job replacing a vehicle after a test drive, Harlan will always go out and re-adjust it by just a little bit to make it perfect. Harlan is also instrumental in our snow removal process by ensuring that we get open for business in the event of a storm.
Janey Lohrman, Warranty Administrator - Janey has been with the company since October of 1999. In that time she has served in several capacities starting in the Ford Service department as a cashier and warranty administrator before moving on to becoming a full time warranty administrator with primary responsibility for Hyundai and Suzuki whiling assisting Mr. Amore with Honda and Acura claims. Recently, she has assumed the critical responsibility of making sure that our record keeping for state inspections and emissions meets the stringent standards laid out by the state. With the help of the service managers, Janey has done a fantastic job in protecting the company’s interests and those of our customers when it comes to complying with state laws pertaining to inspections and emissions code. On the warranty administration side, Janey has been routinely recognized by Hyundai for being tops in the district for warranty submission time and accuracy. It’s always nice to see our factory representatives give credit where credit is due and Janey does an excellent job at managing our warranty claims.
Ruth Burgess, Body Shop Administrative Assistant - Ruth came to the Vinart Body Shop in September of 1999 and in that time she has come to play a very important role in the day to day operation of the Body Shop. I know for a fact that Gabe Ferko, Vinart Body Shop Manager, relies on her to keep things going in the busy body shop office environment along with the other office staffers and estimators. Along with her colleagues, Ruth routinely deals with a steady stream of customers, suppliers, insurance adjustors and employees from other divisions all while remaining organized and maintaining a positive attitude. Several managers, including myself, will often pick up the phone and call her when Gabe is unavailable and she is always willing to be of assistance. She does a remarkable job.
